Summer Johnson Innovative Dance instructorSummer’s love for performing began at the age of four when she dove into the world of competitive cheerleading. Her early experiences taught her the magic of teamwork, the value of dedication, and the sheer joy of performing.

In middle school, Summer’s passion for movement grew as she joined dance classes at Innovative Dance. Exploring a variety of dance styles, she discovered a whole new world that inspired a new passion for movement. At Wilsonville High School, she dedicated all four years to the varsity cheerleading team before graduating in 2019. Additionally she took on the responsibility of coaching the youth cheerleading team, providing her the opportunity to share her love for the sport with younger athletes.

For the past six years, Summer has focused on early childhood education, striving to positively impact the next generation. Her teaching style blends her love for dance with her commitment to nurturing young minds, creating an environment where every child feels encouraged and valued.

Outside of teaching, Summer is a licensed childcare provider and has recently found a love for group fitness classes, particularly dance. She has proudly held the title of Miss Willamette Valley Volunteer for the past two years and was awarded Miss Congeniality in 2023 and 2024. With her infectious enthusiasm, Summer ensures every student leaves her class with a smile.
